A bash for The Talkmaster is set for Jan. 12, about a week before his official departure from four decades of radio shows. It will feature comedian Jeff Foxworthy and guests Herman Cain, who will replace Boortz in January; his buddy and syndicated talk show host Sean Hannity; WSB talk show host Erick Erickson, also editor of Redstate.com, and consumer advocate Clark Howard. The band Banks and Shane, one of Boortzs vorite acts and good friends, will perform.

The manuctured bro-mance between Boortz and Cain was sickening, too. It was transparent from the get-go that Were Such Buttheads (one of Neals cut-downs of the station in the past) was grooming Cain for a show. Everyone knew he had ZERO chance getting the nomination it was all about raising his profile. Referring to him a pizza-man, while never mentioning his time as chairman of the Federal Reserve in KC was deception. Cain is an insider, not merely a businessman.
I had planned to go to the zoo that day, to watch mindless apes throw feces, but I can save that admission fee and just go to boor tzs party and see the same thing.
I love Neal and have disagreed with very little hes said over the many years hes been on the air. I stopped listening to him back in the days of The Truth Will Make You Mad ads. Its true. I always found his shows upsetting. It was the opposition to his views that I found troubling. I mean, how can people believe that government owes them healthcare?

Re Boortz, he was at his best when he was being purely libertarian. He was downright insufferable when he wore the Republican/Bush banner last decade and even moreso when his hatred was in full force during the Obama years. Royal was a good foil for him, made him seem less racist (if there are degress of racism?). He is unchecked now and personally I cant listen. I cant listen to him talk about how dangerous Obama is after he sat on his azz and praised Bush for eight years, a man directly responsible for illegal wars and the ll of our economy. Boortz lost all credibility there and I found it hard to listen to him most of the time. He should have stuck with the libertarian talk, I learned a lot from him on that front.
Judging from other comments, I guess I am with the only few handfull of people who actually likes Hermain Cain. Lol.

Romney supported TARP, the bailouts, the 2.5 trillion dollar increase in the debt ceiling since the republicans regained the house, NDAA, the Patriot Act, the build-up of the TSA and DHS, and wants to invade Iran, or anywhere the CFR deems necessary. He will trample the Constitution just like his predecessors.
